Web Based Exercise Programming Improves Home Exercise Adherence
This 2019 study published in the American Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation set out to explore whether or not a web-based exercise programming system improves adherence to a home exercise program for people with musculoskeletal conditions.
The findings of course are of real interest to Lusio Rehab, as a major part of the LusioMATE ecosystem is the remote monitoring and movement goal creating functionality that it provides. Whilst musculoskeletal conditions would be just one cohort of the kind of Players that use the LusioMATE platform, the findings are very welcome.
The summary of the study can be read via this link and the full report can be purchased, but the conclusion that a web-based exercise programming system improved home exercise adherence and confidence in ability to undertake exercise.
This is very exciting for Lusio Rehab as we continue to develop and improve the clinician dashboard functionality within the eco system. We are working very hard at improving the user experience of it and have some exciting developments which we look forward to rolling out very soon.
